Cost$ per Block Guide of Popular Wooden Toy Brands

Figuring out what block sets to buy is a challenge in and of itself. So many brands, so many set styles, and inches verses metric! Cue head explosion.

I have gone through all the major brands and the available block sets to price them per block. A starting point would be to know how much each block costs. This becomes more complicated when blocks are very large or time consuming to make. Bauspiel is a good example. Their price/block is the most expensive on market. However, they make some of the most intricate blocks – the labor costs show through.

Brands are announcing price increases (another wonderfully awful side effect of COVID-19) and I am working to update the list to reflect that.
